Membership

We are an amateur community that's non-profit in nature. We are enthusiastic about practicing Karate-Do, with experience ranging from decades to days.

Everyone regardless of grade, "seniority", gender or age is welcome and encouraged to participate in organizing our karate life — helping with events, this site, and bringing their ideas for collaboration!

Please note: Everyone trains at their own risk. We neither provide nor cover insurance.

Costs

Membership costs

Membership fees go entirely towards dojo rental fees and our dojo's yearly registration fee.

• 6 months: CHF 360, paid by end of June and end of December for the upcoming period
• 12 months: CHF 700, paid by end of December for the upcoming year

When joining mid-semester, pro rata costs apply.

Individual / per event costs

Each member pays these individually — not covered by membership fees.

• Transportation costs to events (within Switzerland, see events)
• Stage (training camps) fees with Sensei: CHF ~120–180 per occasion, paid directly to Sensei
• One-time costs (kimono, eventually protection equipment): CHF ~100 total
